Ingredients

  • 4 oz fettuccine
  • 4 slices center cut bacon, chopped
  • 1½ Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp all purpose flour
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ⅔ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat 6 to 8 minutes or until crisp.
  3. Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat; whisk in flour, and cook, whisking constantly, 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in milk and garlic powder; cook, whisking constantly, until mixture is thickened and bubbly.
  5. Remove from heat; gradually whisk in cheese until melted. Add pasta and bacon to cheesy sauce; toss. Sprinkle with parsley, if desired.

  • 2 cups spinach
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil vinaigrette

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Toss together spinach and vinaigrette in a bowl.
