Creamy Garlic-Herb Steak Bites

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • ¼ cup olive oil, divided
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg sliced mushrooms
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup garlic herb spreadable cheese

Instructions

  1. Season steak cubes with salt and pepper, if desired. Cook steak, in batches, in 1½ Tbsp hot oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat 2 minutes per side until browned. Remove all steak from skillet; keep warm.
  2. Cook mushrooms in 1 Tbsp hot oil in skillet 5 minutes or until almost tender, stirring occasionally. Add cream and cheese. Cook 1 minute, stirring until cheese is melted.
  3. Add steak to mushroom sauce. Cook 1 to 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1½ (12-oz) pkg refrigerated garlic and herb mashed cauliflower
  • ¼ cup butter, divided
  • ½ tsp pepper, divided
  • 1 (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Heat cauliflower according to package directions. Transfer to a bowl. Stir in 2 Tbsp butter and ¼ tsp pepper.
  2. Steam broccoli according to package directions; toss with 2 Tbsp butter, salt, and ¼ tsp pepper. Sprinkle with cheese.
