Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbsp firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 12 slices sandwich bread
  • 1 lb thinly sliced deli sweet ham
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 6 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 6 Tbsp butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Stir together mustard, brown sugar, and honey; spread over one side of each bread slice.
  2. Top half of bread slices with ham and cheese slices. Top with remaining bread slices, spread side down. Spread softened butter over outsides of sandwiches.
  3. Place on a baking sheet, and bake 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 (16-oz) pkg baby carrots
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg potato chips
  • ½ cup Ranch dressing

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Serve carrots and chips with Ranch dressing for dipping.
