Ingredients
- 2 lb lean ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp Southwest seasoning
- ½ tsp pepper
- 2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
- ½ tsp garlic salt
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 romaine lettuce hearts, shredded
- 2 avocados, diced
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 jicama, peeled and shredded
- 1 cup refrigerated salsa
Instructions
- Cook beef, garlic, seasoning, and pepper in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly. Drain, if needed.
- Whisk together lime juice and garlic salt in a small bowl until blended. Gradually whisk in olive oil, blending well; stir in cilantro.
- Divide lettuce, avocado, tomatoes, and jicama among 6 plates; top each with beef mixture, and drizzle with dressing. Serve with salsa, if desired.
